Cultural Affairs Committee
Community Development Division: To improve economic conditions and quality of life in Rapid City.
Rural Development Division: To improve the economy of our rural area and maintain excellent relationships with our rural neighbors.
 
COMMITTEE OBJECTIVE:
To recognize, promote, and support the cultural activities and sponsoring organizations in our area recognizing the importance of cultural affairs to a successful community.

    • Working with the Downtown Association in the Artober Art event
    • Working with MDU Art Gallery's continuation
    • Helping to distribute the downtown public art brochure
      (Economic Development 19)
    • Working with Black Hills Cultural Partnership
