Each year the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce hosts several Legislative Crackerbarrels during the South Dakota Legislature's annual session (January to March). The Crackerbarrels allow Chamber members and the community at-large to hear from Rapid City area legislators and ask questions concerning the issues before them.

Crackerbarrel's are held on several Saturdays during the session from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the South Dakota School of Mines New Classroom Building and are free and open to the public. The specific dates of the Crackerbarrel sessions are published in the January edition of the Chamber's monthly Investment Report and will be listed below once they are set.
