Blogs, Wikis, & Web 2.0; How Are They Good for My Business?

A few years ago, people thought it was amazing that a regular person could edit a web page without consulting The Webmaster. Today, even those uninitiated in what is called "Web 2.0" know that such user interaction is commonplace on the web. Thus, words like podcasts, blogs, wikis, social media, MySpace, Facebook, and more have become commonplace, even if they're not fully understood by most of the population.

The bigger question facing organizations today - from business to education - is how are these tools going to effect communication? Forward thinking businesses have even moved beyond that question to ask, How can they be leveraged as a positive force, increasing productivity, and decreasing inefficiency? They're finding positive answers in "Web 2.0" and in this session, participants will explore the beginning of such possibilities.
