Legislative Advocacy
The Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce serves as a voice in legislature for all of our member businesses and their employees, advocating for policies and business interests at all levels of local, state, and federal government.
During the legislative session, our Governmental Relations team is responsible for the promotion and implementation of a variety of interests, including:
- Continual contact with business leaders, interest groups/associations, respective elected officials, and government agency administrators
- Legislative objectives determined by the Board of Directors
We’re dedicated to building and fostering the kind of community that not only offers an outstanding quality of life for its residents but also instills a positive climate for businesses and economic development, and we’ll work diligently with government representatives to achieve those goals.
For more information about our current advocacy efforts, view our Agenda, or if you’d like to be more involved with our cause, check out our Crackerbarrels.
